Ingrid Robeyns is an economist, philosopher, author, and advocate of economic limitarianism. She holds the Chair in Ethics of Institutions at the Ethics Institute of Utrecht University. Much of her research over the past 20 years has focused on the capability approach, social justice, and desirable institutional change. She is the author of the acclaimed book Limitarianism: The Case Against Extreme Wealth.

Alberto Alemanno is the Jean Monnet Professor of European Union Law & Policy at HEC Paris and Democracy Fellow at Harvard University. He's the author of more than sixty scientific articles and a dozen books. Alberto's research has been centred on how the law may be used to improve people's lives, in particular through the adoption of power-shifting reforms countering social, health, economic, and political disparities of access within society.

Clara Martínez-Toledano is an Assistant Professor of Financial Economics at Imperial College Business School and Wealth Distribution and Political Cleavages Coordinator at WID.world. She is also a CEPR and CESifo Research Affiliate and a Research Fellow at the EU Tax Observatory. Her research agenda mainly focuses on studying the determinants of economic inequalities within and across countries, in particular, those enabled by political and financial institutions.

Martin Schürz is an economist and expert in wealth distribution and extreme wealth, combining empirical research with broader reflections on the social and psychological dynamics of inequality. He received the Progressive Economy Award of the European Parliament in 2015 together with Pirmin Fessler. In 2019, he was awarded the Bruno Kreisky Prize for the Political Book for Überreichtum.

Being a member of the European Forum Alpbach's scientific advisory board she is a mentor at 'Alpbach IDEAS' where the Wealth Cap Project originated from.
